My name is Kevin Cannon and we are very excited about being a part of the North Georgia Archery Circuit in 2010 ! We started this ministry in hopes of planting a seed in someone that loves hunting, fishing, and the outdoors like we do and does not yet know our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

We’ve done some research and found out over 1 million hunting and fishing licenses were sold in the State of Georgia alone. We don’t know how many of those folks know Christ. We want to show as many people that we can that the Lord loves them and Died for them.

We believe that just because you turn your life over to the Lord He does not want you to stop doing the things that you Love to do. After all God give us our abilities to do what we Love to do. All God wants in return is to Glorify Him with those abilities.

Soul Hunters Outdoor Ministry got started when my Wife Jennifer and I along with friends Randall (Wolfie) Hughes, Mark Cawthon, and Cub Lovell went to one of B.C. Grant Baptist churches annual 3D tournaments. We saw several rough and tough hunters turn their life over to Christ.

The Lord put it on all our Hearts to start an outdoor ministry targeting those hunters and fishermen. We are using archery now but hope to expand to fishing tournaments, fishing rodeos for kids, archery shoots for kids etc. We don’t know what the Lord has in store for this ministry - we are going where God leads us and give Him the Glory for it all.

I want to give a special thanks to a few people that have helped us get started: Lewis Ford for the use of his targets and property for our 1st shoot, Kevin Barrett Logo Design and Tee Shirts and North Ga Archery Club for posting our shoots on their web site but most of all our thanks to our Savior Jesus Christ - for everything we are and everything we will become on our path to Glorifying Him.
